If you're looking for more guidance, we are heartily encouraging folks to google the dress code "Upstage The Bride." Seriously. No, we're not kidding. Make 'em fun and fantastic and hat-centered, folks. Please please wear things that make you joyful, are SO SO SO BRIGHT AND COLORFUL and don't worry about things like "is this too gaudy or showy?" or "is this wedding dress inappropriate?" We want you to wear the colors/stickers/hats/giant elaborate showpiece ensemble that brings you the most joy. Really. *Big Addendum! Whatever you wear, we strongly recommend bringing a change of cozies or comfy stuff/shoes for hanging out. The venue is a park with a carousel, playgrounds, nature walks, and we will be hanging out at picnic tables and blankets. Dustin will be in comfy clothes likely the entire time and Rachel has like 2 costume changes. Plan and party accordingly!
Ceremony begins at 2pm. Please arrive at the park by 1:45pm. Parking is close to the ceremony and party (~1 minute walk) on flat ground, primarily grass/fields. Please reach out if you have questions about access/seating!
We really appreciate all of the lovely thoughts, but celebrating with you all is the best gift we can think of. As such, we won't be posting a gift registry. If you truly want to send a gift our way, there is a link on the registry page for our "land fund" so we can buy a little plot of land upstate someday to make theater and s'mores, but please know it is NOT necessary!
