Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking. However, cars may not be left overnight.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal casual is encouraged: dresses, suits (no ties or jackets needed), etc. Please no shorts or jeans. Weather pending, the ceremony will be on grass, and cocktail hour will be outside. Don't worry... the barn does have air conditioning!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a bus picking up guest at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square Hotel on the Vine Street side of the hotel at 3:00 and 3:30. Transportation from the venue back to Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square Hotel will be as needed, with the last ride at 10:30.

Where is the newlywed couple partying after the wedding?

Answer

We will be going to bars in Lancaster City which are walking distance from Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square. All welcome!

What are some of the bride and groom's favorite things about Lancaster city?

Answer

We love the Central Market for local foods, souvenirs, and culture. They are open 6AM-4PM Friday, 6AM-2PM Saturday, closed Sunday. Rachel's Crepes, Prince Street Cafe, and The Taproom are our must-hit food and drink spots. Not to mention, Millersville University is located 15 minute from Downtown Lancaster (which is a much better school than West Chester).

What time is check in at the Marriott? Is there early check in?

Answer

The Marriott cannot guarantee early check-in. If your room is available early, they will allow you to check in. Check in is at 4 PM. The Marriott will have a room to hold luggage as well as offer a room for you to change in.
