We met as strangers at a Christmas lights drive-through attraction. One of our friends had just canceled last minute, allowing us the chance to sit side by side in the back seat of a small sedan. It was cramped, but being shoulder to shoulder felt more comfortable rather than suffocating. One of us that evening had this thought "Hey, this is kind of nice. I could get used to this.", and acted on it.
It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We had scheduled a photoshoot for Flow at Descanso Gardens. Paul colluded with the photographer about a very special thing that day, but first he needed a distraction. Flow's attention was to be focused on the photoshoot only until the moment was right. We took our time exploring the garden and taking photos until we arrived at a special location; a steel gazebo with striking a resemblance to a bird cage. As Flow posed for another photo, Paul knelt down on his knee and asked " Would you marry me?". With joy in her eyes, she did not answer and instead took out a ring of her own- "Would you marry me?" she asked.
