Austin and Megan’s favorite close-by lunch spot! Located inside of the Sewell Ford dealership, it’s a hidden gem with a variety to choose from. Megan’s pick is the Press Nachos, and Austin’s favorite is their Southwest Cobb salad with the 1911.
This is our favorite date night place! Their brunch is wonderful as well. Making a reservation early is highly encouraged. C&P is conveniently located just across the street from the Residence Inn. We love the outdoor patio when the weather is nice! Megan’s favorite is the steak salad with a mango margarita martini, and Austin loves the blackened ribeye with a jalapeño margarita. We always share the cornbread as an appetizer (although it’s not on the menu!) and the tres leches or key lime pie for dessert. It’s all delicious!
From their website: “A visit to the Petroleum Museum is an amazing journey through over 230 million years of history. Located in the heart of the Permian Basin, the Petroleum Museum offers interactive education and entertainment for adventurers of all ages.”
From their website: “The mission of the George W. Bush Childhood Home, Inc., is to express and interpret the history of one of America’s great families by telling the story of the Bush Family and the childhood of George W. Bush in Midland, Texas, and celebrating the lives of two presidents, two governors, and two first ladies.”
Craving Mexican food or wanting a quick bite? We love Rosa’s! The food is usually ready within 10 minutes of ordering (if that!) and is so yummy! They make the best tortillas. Megan usually orders combo nachos with rice, and Austin loves the chicken fajita salad. Their carrot cake is a yummy treat, too!
