Is there a registry?

Answer

In Austrian wedding traditions, it is common to gift money as a wedding present. This is considered a contribution towards the wedding costs, a contribution to the honeymoon or the future life of the couple. It is common and widely accepted to present the gift in an envelope with a heartfelt message.

How can we get to the wedding if we do not have a car?

Answer

Shuttle from the train station in Krems an der Donau will be provided. The specific time of departure will be determined in the weeks ahead of the wedding. If you need to take the shuttle we ask you to contact us ahead of time. In the "Übernachtungen" Tab we provided a means of matching car pools, please check if there is a car pool available for you.

What am I supposed to wear?

Answer

The dress code is party chique. That means at least a suit or dress. Color wise you are free to choose.

Can I bring my own food or drink?

Answer

No. Plenty of food and drink will be provided and a service charge will be applied by the venue if drinks or food are brought externally.

Shall I film the ceremony on my phone?

Answer

No, please refrain from filming the ceremony on your private phones. Professional filming is available. Filming outside of the ceremony is however fine for us.

How long are we supposed to stay?

Answer

You are free to leave whenever you wish. We ask however that you stay at least until the dinner.
