There are many waterfalls near Highlands! Many of these are located along US Highway 64, the Mountain Waters Scenic Byway. Please visit the website below for trails and level of difficulty for each. * Whiteside Mountain Trail + Dry Falls are the most popular!

Downtown Highlands is filled with cute local shops and lots of different dining options. Please be sure to make reservations well in advance as places and reservations are limited! Madisons Restaurant - Madison's is the main restaurant at Old Edwards Inn. We highly suggest making a reservation well in advance if you plan to dine there during your stay. Four65 Bistro and Bar - Whether it is a cocktail at the bar , or a wood fire pizza , Four65 never disappoints! First come first serve basis. Blue Bike Cafe - BBC is a local spot that is a staple for breakfast in the Highlands! It tends to get busy, but you can grab a coffee while you wait! Cadlers - Cadlers is a great grab and go coffee shop , with bakery items, and more. The High Dive - Looking for a late night spot to continue in celebration? Look no further than The High Dive! A casual , local spot with a great patio space. Wolfgangs - Wolfgangs is a popular local restaurant in the heart of the downtown area.
