We know that traveling out of state can be long and expensive, however we will do everything we can to have all of our family and friends with us. So, keep checking back here as we’re still figuring things out and will keep you posted. Thank you for your patience!

FAQs

Remember you can always ask Samuel or Emily if you still have questions!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 30th 2025. It might seem early but as everyone is traveling out of state we want to give our guests time to make arrangements. If some did RSVP no, we can make necessary changes.

Question

How can I get to Colorado and the venue?

Answer

In short, you have two options to get to our wedding. 1. Fly to Denver International Airport, rent a car or pay for a ride (Uber) to the venue. If we have more than 10 people agree to fly, there is an option for discounted rates. However, I believe it is only applied if everyone departs from the same airport. 2. Take the longer route and drive to the venue from Texas. (This is the bride and grooms preferred way to travel, if you have the time). We take one day to drive to Lubbock, TX, stay at a hotel and rest. The next day we make it into Denver, CO.

Question

Where is the venue, ceremony, reception etc.?

Answer

Our venue is the Stone Mountain Lodge located at 18055 N St Vrain Dr, Lyons, CO 80540. The whole wedding event will take place here.

Question

Where is everyone staying for the wedding?

Answer

Samuel and I have reserved rooms for ALL guests on site of the venue. Room selection will be done prior to your arrival but please be assured that everyone will have a place to sleep.

Question

What time is check in/out from the lodge?

Answer

Most guests can check into their rooms at the lodge on 10/6/25 @4:00pm with the exception of a few early check in’s at the discretion of the venue coordinator/owner. Check out is the following day 10/7/25 @11:00am.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony site?

Answer

The check in for the rooms is 4pm, and the ceremony starts at 5-5:15pm at the latest. It is only a small walk from the rooms to the ceremony site. (Less than 5min).

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking as the venue is also where everyone is staying for the wedding.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We would love to have everyone in attendance, however we have only room for 50 guests. Our invitations will be tailored to each guest and will show if you are allowed a plus one. Please put the name of your allowed plus one in your RSVP.

Question

What can I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Now, we are high up in the mountains of Colorado. The bride suggests to the guests to wear all black, and comfortable shoes as the venue is outside and there will be different terrains. (Grass, gravel and concrete). It will be colder in the evening so jackets and sweaters are encouraged. The outdoors venue tent has the option to be heated as well.

Question

Why is the wedding 21+ only?

Answer

The bride and groom will have marijuana for them and their guests consumption if they choose and because of this, no one under 21 is permitted on the premises according to the rules of the state as well as the venue itself. While we would love to have everyone present there are NO exceptions, we hope you understand. <3

Question

Why a breakfast buffet instead of dinner?

Answer

Breakfast is special to us. Our first date was at a breakfast spot and we still continue to seek out breakfast diners for fun. Breakfast for dinner will always be a thing at our house!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have both agreed that we would not register for gifts as we want all our guests to have their focus on attending the wedding. The best gift you could get us is you! However if you continue to feel generous, any gifts can be mailed to our home address: 1650 Russell Lane, San Benito TX 78586.
