The closest airport to fly to is Bordeaux, which is 35 km from Arès.

Can I come by train?

There is a train station in Arès. From there it is 20 minutes by foot or 3 minutes by car to the location.

Do I need a car?

Answer

We will have no transport organised as everything is quite close. The ceremony will be a short drive from the main venue on Saturday so if you have a car you can arrange driving in groups or call a taxi (FLEURY CEDRIC www.fc-taxi-ares.fr. TEL: 06 25 04 97 17). If you arrive from Bordeaux you will probably need to rent a car there to reach Arès. There are several options there. The venue offers sufficient parking opportunities onsite.

There are 12 beds in two houses that belong to the location. We will offer them to the closest family members. Is there a dresscode?

The dresscode is léger-chic. You don't have to wear a suit or ties (only if you want), but please no tank top or bathing suits 😆 Think chic bermudas and dressing shirt for the boys and summer dresses for the girls.

What do you gift someone who lives a minimalist lifestyle? Please do not feel obligated to bring gifts. Your presence and the effort you make to travel to celebrate this day with us is the biggest gift you can give us. If you want to gift us something anyways, you can contribute with a donation to our wedding expenses. There will be a possibility to do so onsite.
