Things To Do

We’re so excited that you’re coming to Alliance Nebraska to celebrate our wedding. The thought of our family and friends making this trip brings tears to our eyes because of how loved you’re making us feel. Although Alliance is a small town there are still some fun things to do in the area. Here are my favorites:

Carhenge

2151 County Road 59, Alliance, NE 69301
, (308) 762-3569

A to scale replica of Stonehenge made of cars! World renowned and Award Winning. A road tripper must-see!

Central Park Fountain

1001-1099 Niobrara Avenue, Alliance, NE 69301

Fun to go in the evening when you can see the color-changing fountain. Next to the fountain is a pretty garden and walking trail that connects to Central Park.

Alliance Knight Museum

908 Yellowstone Avenue, Alliance, NE 69301
, (308) 762-2384

Come learn about some Nebraska history! This is one of my favorite places in Alliance. Get yourself a coffee at Newberrys Coffee house then take a walk to the museum! Not a far walk at all! *free admission

Dobby's Frontier Town

320 East 25th Street, Alliance, NE 69301
, (308) 762-7157

THE WILD WILD WEST (yeehaw) Come see what life was like in the grasslands of the Nebraska Sandhills.

Scotts Bluff National Monument

190276 Old Oregon Trail, Gering, NE 69341
, (308) 436-9700

Drive the 1.6 mile summit road to catch a view from the top of Scotts Bluff or hike the monument! I get excited about this monument (flor) because it was a landmark for the people traveling the Oregon trail and it is a beautiful view of the Nebraska prairie.

Nebraska 2

Nebraska 2, Alliance, NE

Take a short drive through the Sandhills! (But not too far) Read more about this scenic drive here: https://history.nebraska.gov/blog/ruins-along-highway-2

Mount Rushmore National Memorial

13000 South Dakota 244, Keystone, SD 57751
, (605) 574-2523

A little far but this is definitely a trip to make if you are in Western Nebraska. Google things to do in the area and you will find train rides, more sculptures, and more things to do! Keep your eyes peeled for buffalo.

For all the days along the way
