It's Wedding Time!

How did we meet? Wow where to start! We met on Joshua’s first day at Chick Fil A Humble on October 8, 2012. Matt Michaels walked him in and started to talk to us leaders about how great Josh was, and how he was going to be the best employee and have his own store before we knew it. Now mind you I, Flora, had been working there for almost two years at this point and was jealous that the boss man was bragging so hard about this new guy. So I did what any girl would do...I wrote him off and didn’t want to get to know him! Lol! I was so rude to him and would barely talk to him up until the point I had to go back to college from my summer break. After 3 months, when I came back for my winter break, EVERYONE loved him and he was now my boss! WHAT!!!!???? I was so upset. I continued to not talk to him or help him with anything...until one day he told me a very silly joke and broke straight through my hard exterior and made me laugh. Dang It! I couldn’t dislike him from that moment on. We became best friends and were inseparable. We were friends for almost 3 years and then on his 26th birthday I got him a cake with the word “Diet...” on it, because he was on a diet and couldn’t have it unless it was good for him! We laughed so hard about this cake, and we were suppose to go out as a group to celebrate but I ended up being the only one to follow through. This was the moment I fell in love with my best friend Joshua Hawk. It wasn’t until a year later that he stopped hiding that he had also fallen for me, and finally asked me to be his girlfriend. He later told me that he knew he was in love with me on that very same birthday. We fell in love over a personalized “Diet” 6 layer Chocolate Cake! What a love story!! ❤
