In the Fall of 2016 Anna and Arley started their freshman year at the University of South Carolina. They were randomly assigned the Capstone residence hall on floor 2, a mere block away from Five Points. They became great friends and lived only 2 doors down from each other all of freshman year. In their 4 years at USC they spent many nights in the Tcoop library and very few at Pavlov’s, Breakers, or Jake’s. They have many fond memories of tailgates, themed parties, and boating on Lake Murray. After graduation, Anna moved to South End in Charlotte for her job at Truist and Arley moved back in with his parents to pursue his aviation career. In an effort to avoid his parents and keep his sanity, Arley spent most of his time outside of flight training with Anna in South End. In the fall of 2020 they finally started dating after they took 2nd place in the York County International Fly-In Flour Bombing contest. In the fall of 2021, Arley would go to Auburn University in Alabama to flight instruct. Anna, being the amazing woman she is, would take planes, trains, and buses to visit Auburn whenever she could find the time. Luckily in 2022, Arley would go on to work for Envoy Air in Fort Worth, Texas. Tired of long distance, Anna and Arley decided to move to Texas in the spring of 2023 where Anna would attend the University of Texas at Dallas to get her MBA. On a trip down the Pacific Coast Highway in March of 2025 they got engaged on a secluded beach in Big Sur. They plan on moving back to the East Coast to be closer to friends and family in the Spring of 2026.
