Whiteside Mountain
This trail is so special to us because we went hiking here the day we started dating :) If you are looking for a fairly easy adventure, this one is for you.
Looking Glass Rock
This is a tough, but so worth-it hike. The view is like none other!
Waterrock Knob
Waterrock is one of our most beloved lookouts on the Blue Ridge Parkway. There is a beautiful lookout you can park at with an option to hike a short trail for an even better view. If you can, take a drive on the parkway and catch this spot at sunset. It will blow you away.
Blue Rooster Southern Grill
This quaint Southern restaurant is our absolute favorite in the area. From delicious burgers and pulled pork to house-made pimento cheese, it's the bomb. Very much Grandma's kitchen vibes.
Sweet Onion
If you're looking to treat yourself, this is the restaurant for you. It is decadently exquisite!
Papas & Beer
This is one of the best Mexican spots we have found in WNC. It is laid-back and just yummy food.
Smoky Mountain River Adventures
If you have a little extra time on your hands, we highly recommend going river tubing down our beloved Tuck River. It's the perfect lazy summer activity!
Museum of the Cherokee Indian
We live extremely close to the Cherokee Reservation and love to inform others about the history of our land the importance of Native American influence in our area of the mountains. This museum is very interesting and an excellent way to spend any free time you have during your stay!
Great Smoky Mountains Railroad
The train is loved by everyone, everywhere!
