We have an RSVP tab above, and you are welcome to RSVP at any time before October 23rd, 2024!
Unfortunately, due to providing our vendors with the exact numbers they need, it will be difficult to accomodate you if you RSVP late, and you will be marked as "not attending". Our vendors will need information at certain dates, and we want to make the planning process as smooth as possible. Plenty of reminders will be sent out, but make sure you RSVP as soon as you can!
Due to the limited space, we are only able to accomodate guests that are formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you recieve a plus one, there will be a place to share who your plus one will be when you RSVP!
We adore your little ones and if they are included in the formal invitation, they are absolutely welcome to our wedding day! However, do not feel pressured if you'd like to leave the kids at home and enjoy a date night or weekend getaway! Please be aware that there will be alcohol served at this wedding and music that may include some language.
Please arrive at the venue no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony, around 1:30 pm. This will allow you time to park and make your way to the ceremony chapel. Golf carts will be available to assist guests to the chapel, and we want to give everyone enough time to arrive, say hello to friends and family, and find their seats without feeling rushed. With that in mind, the earlier you are, the better! Please note, if you arrive after the start of the ceremony, you will not be able to come to the chapel and be seated.
Parking is available, but golf carts will be necessary to reach the chapel and the barn area. If you plan on drinking, we encourage you to utilize Uber or carpooling with friends/family that has a sober driver. We want our guests to arrive, party and leave our wedding safely!
The ceremony and reception will be at Sunset Ridge! The ceremony will take place in a beautiful open air chapel in the middle of Sunset Ridge's stunning wildflower field. Since the walls are open to the outside, please keep in mind the weather when packing for your outfit and dress accordingly if needed. Cocktail hour will be just outside of the barn and reception will take place in the barn following the ceremony. The property does have some gravel and/or unpaved roads, for the ladies planning on wearing heels, please take this into consideration as well.
Yes! We would love our family and friends to have a fun opportunity to dress up! While we are not doing a structured dress code for our wedding (i.e. everyone wear black), we do encourage people to embrace the theme of our wedding: enjoying a Fall Garden Party! Florals, fall colors, and suits! Dress code is formal!
Absolutely! The only request we make is to put your phones away during the CEREMONY. We have a wonderful photographer working to capture beautiful photos of our big day, and we want the friends and family that we love to be present when we say "I do". However, during the rest of the evening, please feel free to take photos and videos otherwise! We will be creating a Google shared album with a QR code so that you can share the love you found in your photos with us! A photo booth will also be a part of the evening, so take advantage of that to strike a pose! And, you post pictures on social media, please tag us! :)
We will be enjoying a Kentucky BBQ dinner at our wedding! A buffet will be provided, including slow smoked pulled pork with housemade barbecue sauce, brined and marinated baked chicken and a wide variety of classic BBQ sides. A dessert section will be present, sharing our favorite desserts with you. During cocktail hour, a grazing table will be available for snacking along with signature cocktails!
Yes! Please party responsibily and have a way to make it back home safe!
