They met sophomore year of college at a party in Christine’s upstairs neighbor’s apartment. Fletcher had just gotten a drink spilt on him and escaped to the balcony to recover his dignity. At that moment Christine walked in, and as Fletcher saw her, he thought to himself that she must be the most beautiful girl in the place. When Christine eventually made her way outside, and they started talking, she found him to be very charming even covered in mystery beverage. Fletcher decided to impress her with a long-shot beer can toss into a bike basket down below. He made it. She laughed. And just like that, something clicked.
