Key West International Airport - this is the best place to fly into! If you're traveling from Chicago (this time of year/off season) American Airlines is the only direct, non-stop airlines that flies directly into Key West International Airport at this time. Additional airlines, such as United, Delta, etc. also fly into Key West International Airport, but typically have 1 layover. Additional Option: You can also fly into Miami International Airport. To get to Key West, you can choose any of these transportation modes: puddle jumper, car, bus or shuttle. The drive from Miami to Key West is one of the most beautiful in the country. You’ll cross multiple bridges, including the famous Seven Mile Bridge, which offers stunning views of the ocean and Keys along the way. If you choose to go the route of bus or shuttle, I recommend checking out miamitokeywestshuttle.com for additional booking info and pricing. If you choose to go the route of renting a car, keep in mind the added cost, including costs to park while staying in Key West.
Travel Note
If you travel directly into the Key West Airport, you have some options when it comes to getting to your destination: taxi's, hotel shuttle services, booking services, or rideshares services. Taxi's: a wide range of taxi companies line up right outside of the airport and will drive you anywhere you’d like to go on the island. The price will be reasonable as the island is only 7.24 square miles. Hotel Shuttle Services: most hotels in Key West offer shuttle service to and from the Key West airport. As usual, you’ll need to plan ahead for this, letting your hotel know your arrival times, etc. Booking: if you're traveling with a larger party, we recommend reserving for airport pick up/drop off. One option we have used is: D.B. Taxi - their dispatch # is: (305) 588-3200. Rideshare: you may also want to consider using the common rideshare services in Key West, such as, Uber or Lyft. From what we have been told, Uber is reliable and reputable in Key West.
Travel Note
The island is small, only 4-miles wide by 2-miles wide, and the historic quarter known as Old Town is all within a 1-mile radius. Taxis, ride-sharing services, bicycles, walking, and city buses are plentiful and a convenient way to get around. Golf carts & beach bikes are the most popular forms for transportation due to minimal parking in Key West. Thereby, we do not encourage or suggest renting a car. From the airport, we find easiest is to book for a pick up via a Taxi service (they have large vans to accommodate groups/families). See section 'Airport Transportation' for more info! If need be, you can rent all different types of options/style golf carts to meet your needs. We have found it most convenient to just book the golf cart for the day(s) we feel we will need it (eg Beach BBQ Day) and pending where you're staying, we usually just walk everywhere else (from in Old Town). For golf cart rentals, there are many options but we typically rent from: Hydro-Thunder of Key West at 150 Simonton St, Key West, FL 33040 - (305) 294-7000 For bike rentals, check with where you're staying first and then if you need to rent, we typically rent from: Eaton Bikes at 830 Eaton St, Key West, FL 33040 - (305) 294-8188 Free Duval Island Transportation Want to avoid the hassle of traffic and parking? This is where everything will be for our wedding day! Including our beach ceremony, cocktail hour & beach reception. While this is where our big day will be held, we encourage exploring any alternative places to book for your stay in Key West. Please see all travel notes within this section for additional information we have provided to best help meet your needs, wants and budget! We'd also like to Note: Casa Marina is a Waldorf Astoria, a luxury hotel. The premises are beautiful, as you will see! We want to acknowledge rates associated may be higher to some. You will want to be sure to key in the dates to get your most accurate nightly rates. This time of year is just outside of the off season so, rates are expected to be a bit more reasonable vs peak season. If you choose to book here, Casa Marina is extending a 10% discount to our guests. To book your stay, please make a reservation via the phone number provided above or by clicking the "View" button. Please make sure M6 appears in the group code area under special rates. When you call, please provide your arrival and departure dates and ask for the "Wedding/Social Rate" to book your stay. We do not have a traditional room block at this hotel. Casa Marina will be undergoing entire renovations starting May 2023 with a project end date of Sept 2023. We have been guaranteed the project will be complete prior to our wedding date. We did have the opportunity to tour a show room, and it was absolutely stunning, so we are looking forward to updated rooms (for those of you who plan to book here) and amenities for our big day! Another tip, if you do book here, we strongly encourage you to check back every few weeks leading up to your stay, as in our experience rates can go down quite a bit. Many resort policies allow you to cancel with no penalty within a week of your stay, so we recommend solidifying accommodations now, and continuing to check back in case a better option/rate becomes available.

This is the sister hotel to Casa Marina, meaning both are Hilton hotel's. Since the Casa Marina will be newly renovated and is a higher end hotel, it is possible that the costs may reflect that. The Reach is a beautiful alternative to book at and is located right next to Casa Marina. If you stay at either, Casa Marina or The Reach, you have accessibility to both of their amenities. The Reach is extending a 10% discount to our guests. To book your stay, please make a reservation via the phone number provided above or by clicking the "View" button. Please make sure M6 appears in the group code area under special rates. When you call, please provide your arrival and departure dates and ask for the "Wedding/Social Rate" to book your stay. Please note, we do not have a traditional room block at this hotel.

Great location and spot to stay! The Island City House Hotel is comprised of three separate buildings, The Arch House, The Cigar House, and the Island City House. We have heard nothing but positive experiences from those we know that have stayed at the Island City House. We have walked through the premises ourselves and it is super quaint, great location (very close to bride and groom!) and overall a top option to stay for our wedding weekend! This should be a more affordable option as well, when compared to Casa Marina and The Reach.
