FAQs

Question

Does your venue have any COVID-19 Rules we should be aware of?

Answer

Our venue asks that guests wear a mask as they enter the building through the glass walking bridge that connects the parking garage with the building, and on the elevators up to Level 4. Each event is taking place on Level 4 (Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Reception) - so once you get there, the mask may come off for the rest of the evening!

Question

Is there an RSVP Deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is January 11th. Please see the RSVP tab on this site to RSVP online.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses or dressy pantsuits, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes we do! That information can be found on the "Travel" section of this site.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held on an outdoor terrace. The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

You can expect mild weather - highs in the mid 70s, and lows in the mid 50's.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony is set to start at 5:30pm, so please plan to arrive around 5pm to ensure you have enough time to park, find your way to the terrace, and get settled in your spot for the ceremony.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

The Science Center has its own parking garage located at 782 East Princeton Street, Orlando, FL 32803, and has an enclosed walking bridge that connects the parking garage with the venue. Parking is free of charge for our guests - just drive on in!

Question

I will be arriving to the venue by Lyft or Uber - where should I have them drop me off?

Answer

If arriving by a car service, please ask that they drop you off on level 2 of the parking garage, and cross into the building by the pedestrian bridge.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels! Our only request is that guests remain "unplugged" during our ceremony, to allow our professional photographers an unobstructed view.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and immediate family will be taking photos. Guests can head inside to the Our Planet exhibit for a cocktail hour, where we will be serving passed hors d'oeuvres and beverages.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes - we will be serving dinner and will have an open bar (remember to bring some cash to tip your bartenders!)

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian options?

Answer

Please reach out to Nathan or Jen to let them know if you will require a vegan/vegetarian meal option.
