We are so thankful for mutual friends who knew us well enough to know that we just had to meet each other!

In the Fall of 2019, Shawn had planned a spontaneous trip to my absolute favorite place, Shadow Mountain Escape! It was our third visit, and definitely the best one yet! Our second night there, our wonderful hosts, Karen and Ralph, invited us to a campfire at their cabin. Little did I know, Shawn and Karen had been scheming for months and had big plans! Before settling in and enjoying the campfire, we took a romantic walk around the beautiful stone courtyard. That is where Shawn dropped to his knee and asked me the easiest question I have ever had to answer! Karen was hiding in a perfect position to snap some pictures that we will treasure forever! It was truly a dream!
