We were introduced by my sister and a few mutual friends and that's when Jason invited me to his families lake house on the fourth of July in 2014. It ended up being one of the more chilly fourth of Julys that we've had and somehow Jason still talked me into going tubing for my first time. He taught me everything I needed to know about how to not fall off the tube and we had the best day together. I think it was when we were watching fireworks on the beach that we both felt we wanted to keep seeing each other.

We flew out to Colorado to surprise Stacey and see her beautiful newborn baby boy, little did I know I'd be in for a surprise myself. We decided to go to Garden of the Gods, wanted to go enjoy the beautiful views again. The last time we went there we only drove through so this time we decided to hike the trails. During our hike he kept saying we needed to get up higher, and that's when we found this spot with a sign that said 'NO HIKING BEYOND THIS POINT'. He of course said we needed to hike in there just a little way, and I was adamant that we shouldn't, but he talked me into it. I heard the back pack drop behind me as I was walking and when I turned around he was already dropping down on one knee. I instantly started to cry, and that's when he asked me to be his wife, and I said Yes! We can't wait to have you all there to watch us say I DO! See you at the Farm!
