We met 10 years ago on Halloween and on 10 years to the day we will be getting married in paradise with the people that mean most to us.

Kevin proposed on Lauren’s parents’ 40th wedding anniversary in Fiesole at the Belmond San Michele overlooking Florence, Italy. Kevin told the most Italian waiter in the world that “Lauren hates Italian wine.” Lauren was embarrassed— but not embarrassed enough to stop taking pictures of her new ring at the table. It was the first time she didn’t finish her entire plate of pasta.
