Braedon and I met through our summer jobs as ride operators at King's Island. In 2018, I was promoted to his ride as a supervisor and we became friends (I promise haha). The following summer, I was supposed to complete an internship in Washington D.C. However, the Lord had a different plan for me as my internship fell through unexpectedly. Braedon and I grew closer through our friend group that summer and the rest is history! Fun fact, Braedon faked liking murder mystery movies all so he could ask me out on a date after watching one with me. Our relationship was challenged rather quickly with the pandemic, as well as, long distance between our colleges. Braedon attended the University of Cincinnati for Mechanical Engineering Technology and I went to Bowling Green State University for Criminal Justice. We did long-distance for nearly five years until Braedon joined me in Columbus. In April 2025, we bought our first home together! For our sixth year anniversary, we took a trip to Tennessee to celebrate. On August 15th, 2025, Braedon proposed at the top of an enclosed ferris wheel in Pigeon Forge. I wholeheartedly convinced myself he was not going to propose on this trip, so needless to say I was overjoyed!
