We are currently planning on having the ceremony start at 5:00pm. Please try to arrive at least 10 minutes prior.
We have reserved a hotel block at the Hyatt Place, which is a 4 minute walk to our wedding and reception venue. However, there are several other options in the downtown area, including Bally’s and a Double Tree. Please check out our “Travel” tab for more information!
We have arranged for a shuttle to pick guests up and take them to the venue from the following locations: The Hyatt Place | 202 Se 2nd St Select Hospital Parking Lot | Corner of 3rd and Cherry St The shuttle will operate from 4:30pm to 10:30pm.
Guests can park at Select Hospital on the corner of 3rd and Cherry street, or at the Hyatt Place. We have arranged a shuttle to and from both locations.

Kids are absolutely welcome! Please make sure to list them on your RSVP so we can have correct accommodations available. We’ve also included some kid friendly spots on our “Things to Do” tab!
Cocktail (cocktail dresses, suits, and ties)
All of our events the day of the wedding will take place outdoors. The reception will take place on the lawn, so we recommend wearing flats or wedged heels instead of anything pointed. We do plan on reserving a tent in the event of inclement weather. The average temperature for Evansville that time of year should range from 61-83 degrees.
We wish for the ceremony to be unplugged, however any time after the ceremony and during the reception, feel free to take as many photos as you’d like! If you do post them on social media, please share it with #finallyaflake so that we can see all the wonderful photos!
