GETTING AROUND:
MSY is the only airport in New Orleans and you can book a rideshare from there into the city for $35-$50. The city is small and easy to navigate via streetcar or Uber/Lyft. You likely do not need a rental car unless you want to see sights outside the city limits.
TRAVEL TO THE WEDDING VENUE:
We suggest to all of our guests to take the Canal Street Ferry across the river to get to our wedding! The ferries come every 30 minutes and costs $2 per ride, and the last ferry leaves at midnight. The venue is less than a 10 minute walk from the Algiers Point Ferry Terminal. The venue is also accessible by Lyft/Uber, rides across the river take about 20 minutes.

Hotel accommodations:
We suggest finding a hotel in the CBD, French Quarter, or Midcity - below are several suggestions that are along Canal Street with easy access to the Canal Streetcar. Please book a room as early as possible since springtime in New Orleans is a busy tourist time! One note: AirBnb, Vrbo, and other short-term rental sites have a sizable impact on housing resources in the city by displacing long term renters and residents. We encourage either booking with a large group or opting to stay in a hotel or inn. No judgment on your final decision, but something to consider.
