We met in high school at a mutual friend's party. We didn't see each other again for 10 years! Then, we reconnected via online dating when Chris recognized me and sent me a message. I was going to delete the dating app that same day, but decided to answer his message before I did. The rest is history!

We were on vacation in Gatlinburg, TN. Chris took me up to Ober Gatlinburg, to a cliff overlooking a beautiful view of the mountains. He said our friend Libby was going to take a picture of us with the mountains behind us. He kissed me and then stood there looking at me for a moment, his eyes shining. I was trying to pose for the photo and asked him why he was being weird! As the words came out of my mouth, he got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. I couldn't see though my laughter and tears, but said YES as he put the ring on my shaking hand. He had surprised me completely and at the perfect moment. It was wonderful.
