Her Side of the Story: The first time I met JB was when he had come home to Jamestown for Christmas in 2011. I was living and working in Erie after graduating from nursing school and he was living in Arizona working on his Bachelor's degree. His cousin and one of my close friends happened to be dating and through them, I had previously "met" him on FaceTime. From what I had seen via the phone, he was a funny, well liked guy that I could see myself getting along with. Fast forward to February 2013, when I moved across the country with one of my best friends to Arizona where JB was still living. He happened to be the only person I knew who lived there and we grew to be inseparable. After some time, we both realized that this relationship was only getting stronger. Then one day, he asked me to be his girlfriend in the Whataburger drive thru and I couldn't be happier about it. The rest is history.. His Side of the Story: Shannon and I first met through my cousin on one of my trips back to Jamestown when I as living in Arizona. She was in the car picking me up from the airport along with some of my other friends, greeting me with a cocktail. That was my first clue that we would hit it off. We started a friendship and would see each other from time to time when I came back to visit. Our relationship really blossomed when her and her best friend moved to Arizona. Shannon was working as a travel nurse and I was finishing my degree at ASU. After her mopping me up on the golf course, we went to one of our favorite bars to help me ease the pain of defeat. On the way home and a couple of cocktails, is when I finally mustarded up the courage to ask her to be my girlfriend (which was in the drive thru at Whataburger).
