It all started next door — literally. Brandon was the charming neighbour who always held the gate open, and Laura was the girl who always looked back. What began as polite greetings soon turned into knowing glances, stolen smiles, and long chats over cheeky drinks at the local pub. We'd tell each other our life stories like we had all the time in the world. After a couple of years of this will-they-won’t-they, Brandon finally asked Laura out. He was cool and charming; Laura stayed composed, not letting on (too much) that she liked him too. But fate had other plans — that first spark fizzled before it had a chance to really ignite. Then one night, Laura — bold as ever — decided to head into town solo. And there he was, Brandon, back at the same local pub. This time, everything clicked. We picked up right where we left off, only this time we didn’t let go. Fast forward five months later, we moved in together. Fast forward two more, and Laura saw a picture of a dog online and instantly fell in love. Without hesitation, Brandon jumped on board — no questions, just “Let’s do it.” That pup became our first baby (fur-covered and slightly spoiled), and we became a little family. Three and a half years, countless memories, adventures, and shared snacks later, Brandon proposed on a quiet beach — just the two (+cujo) of us, as it had been so many times before. No big spectacle, no audience — just love, sand, sea, and the promise of forever. Now here we are — neighbours turned soulmates, pub buddies turned life partners — and now about to celebrate our next chapter with all of you, our loved ones who has watched our story unfold.
