What is the shuttle schedule?
Answer
Shuttles will arrive at the Hampton Inn at 5 p.m. and depart for the venue at 5:15 p.m. A shuttle will arrive at Barnsley (pick up in front of Barnsley Hotel) at 5:35 p.m. and depart for the venue at 5:45 p.m. and arrive in time for the 6 p.m. ceremony start time. As a friendly reminder, we strongly encourage those staying at the Hampton Inn in Adairsville and Barnsley Resort to use the shuttle system. Parking at the church beside the farm is limited, and taxis/ride shares don't service the area. Additionally, vehicles parked at the church will need to be retrieved before 9 a.m. Sunday morning to make room for church goers. Once the reception begins, shuttles will run continuous trips to each hotel to accomodate those who want to leave at various times. Shuttles will run until all guests are returned to their respective hotels after the reception ends.

What is Greystone?
Answer
Greystone is the name given to the farm that Mac and Katie Fite (Elizabeth's parents) bought in 2019 to enjoy their retirement and love of the outdoors. It is home to many happy animals - two horses, a donkey, three chickens, four dogs, and two cats. Note that while cute, one of the horses is nippy, and the pastures are surrounded by an electric fence. Please do not pet the animals.

What should I wear?
Answer
Cocktail attire is appropriate. All events will be outside, so check the weather in advance and dress accordingly. We will have heaters available if needed under the reception tent and a campfire, but be prepared for a chill in the air. The average temperature in Adairsville on April 27 is mildly cool with a high of 73°F and low of 50°F, however, heat waves and cold fronts can occur. Footing is flat with a mix of grass lawn and concrete, so stilettos could pose a challenge.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?
Answer
We will be providing a shuttle to and from the venue on the day of the wedding. The shuttle will pick up guests from the Hampton Inn in Adairsville and Barnsley Resort prior to the ceremony. Drop offs will occur at various times during and after the reception. A schedule will be provided prior to the wedding day. If you prefer not to take a shuttle, GPS will direct you to 219 Dry Creek Road NW, Adairsville, GA, 30103.

Is parking available at the wedding location?
Answer
A limited amount of parking is available at Dry Creek Baptist Church, which is next door to the wedding location (approximately 200-foot walk). All vehicles must be moved by 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 28, to make room for church goers.

Are Uber, Lyft, or taxis available if I don't want to drive or take the shuttle?
Answer
These transportation options rarely operate in the area. This is country life.

What type of food and beverage will be served?
Answer
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by dinner with several food stations, including a meat, seafood, vegan and gluten-free options with salad. Please make a note in your RSVP or email elizabeth.c.fite@gmail.com if you have further dietary restrictions. An open bar and nonalcoholic options will be provided.

Am I allowed to bring my children?
Answer
Due to the presence of large animals and farm equipment, we cannot host any children at our wedding outside of immediate family members. We appreciate your understanding. Please reach out to Elizabeth at elizabeth.c.fite@gmail.com if you need help finding babysitting services in the area.
