What if I received a Save the Date, but did not get an invitation?

Answer

If you received a Save the Date, but did not get a formal invitation, it is lost in the mail! We sent out our invitations in late-June, and have heard from a handful of people that they either that they just received them (several weeks later), or have not yet received them at all. If this is the case, PLEASE reach out to us!!!

Where is everything taking place?

Answer

All of our wedding events will take place at Bear Ridge Destination, located in Clymer, NY. The property consists of two massive luxury rental homes, a secluded cabin in the woods, a small-scale barn venue, a large cozy Tipi, a beautiful fishing pond, and endless pleasing bucolic surroundings to explore. We will have access to a majority of the grounds, with the exception of the large barn venue. The ceremony, cocktail hour and other events will take place outdoors, so please dress accordingly.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire! With several of the events taking place outdoors, we ask that you keep that in mind when choosing your footwear (ladies may want to leave the stiletto's at home). You may also want to bring a light jacket or shawl as the temperature in September may dip in the evening. The average temperature for that time of year is a high of 70 and low of 50 degrees.

The venue is in the middle of nowhere! How will I get to the venue, and is there transportation available?

Answer

Our venue is located approximately 1 1/2 hours south of Buffalo. We highly suggest that our guests plan to stay overnight at one of the local accommodations listed on the 'Travel' section of our website. The closest and most convenient hotel is located at Peek'N Peak resort, which is approximately 1.7 miles from the venue. We also have a block of rooms reserved at the Comfort Inns and Suites, located in Findley Lake, which is approximately 5 miles from the venue. Uber does operate in the area, but they may be limited, so we suggest planning ahead! There will be ample parking available at the venue.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your kids, unfortunately due to venue/space restrictions, we are unable to accommodate children outside of immediate family. What parent doesn't want a night out?!

Can I bring a date/guest?

Answer

We want to keep our special day an intimate event with close friends and family. In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Will there be food and drink served?

Answer

Oh yes there will! We will have a charcuterie board during cocktail hour, as well as a 3-course meal and dessert table! Our main mission is to make you stuffed! There will be an open bar, however, tips for the bartender are always appreciated.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions, please indicate so on your RSVP card. Feel free to reach out to us with any specific concerns.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

This will be an unplugged wedding ceremony. We have an excellent photographer who will be capturing our I do's, therefore we ask that you put the phones/cameras away. Feel free to snap away once the reception begins!

What's the best way to RSVP?

Answer

We’d love to know if you can make it (we hope you can!). We ask that you RSVP the good old fashioned way, via snail mail. Response cards will be pre-addressed with postage, so all you need to do is fill it out and drop it in the mailbox! Please remember to include your name(s) on the RSVP card!!
