Ben and I met while working at Giant Direct during the winter of 2020. I was just there to earn some extra money for college and had absolutely no interest in him at the time. To me, he was just the guy who talked a little too much about football and could always be counted on for a playful argument with coworkers he went to high school with. While I was busy giving my attention elsewhere, Ben waited, quietly and patiently, until I finally said yes to a date. We officially started dating in January of 2023, and now, 2.5 years later, I have a ring on my finger and a lifetime with him to look forward to!

It was a crisp fall day when I walked into Giant to start my shift and noticed a new face. She seemed a little shy and quiet, maybe because it was her first day. But something about her stopped me in my tracks. I couldn’t explain it; it was a feeling I’d never had before. So I went up, introduced myself, and she told me her name was Bethany. In that moment, the strange feeling I had turned into certainty, I knew I was going to marry her. I asked her out more times than I can count, and each time she turned me down. But I never gave up, because deep down, I knew she was the one. Eventually, she said yes, and the rest is history. My best friend. The love of my life. My forever.
