Welcome to our forever

Brett and Danielle both went to Franklin High School. They were on the track team and even had a couple of classes together. However, their story does not start there. We have to jump forward to 2020, when the world was shutting down. While locked in quarantine, Danielle noticed that Brett was watching all of her Instagram stories. She was intrigued and stayed true to her mantra (“all it takes is 30 seconds of insane courage”); reaching out to him on Facebook. Brett thought that Danielle was trying to sell him supplements, so he didn’t respond—at first. Although, he couldn’t get that message off of his mind, and so, he replied. What started after that was a few weeks of texting and finally a Zoom date where they had a few drinks and talked for hours. Danielle and Brett had a few more Zoom dates before their first official date in June of 2020. Putt-putting! Danielle showed off her very poor skills and kept hitting the ball off the course, Brett had clearly won the game and Danielle’s heart. Throughout the years, they have loved traveling to many different places; including France, Iceland, Colorado, South Carolina, North Carolina, and more. Lots of laughs, adventures, and good times later, Brett asked Danielle to marry him at home on August 1st, 2024. They are so excited to have you join them on this next adventure and hope to see you on July 18th, 2026 in Benton Harbor, Michigan!
