Jenn & Shane met through mutual friends (8 years ago) and always kept in touch. For awhile, whenever Jenn needed her car fixed...he was the guy! It all started when Jenn's car started making funny noises. She called and explained the problem. Shane knew right away what she needed was a new clutch. It was fixed within a few days but then... She received a text from him. Did he forget to tell her something about her car? Nope! Shane just wanted to talk about life and asked to hang out. Jenn made up excuses for 3 weeks to avoid hanging out with him (playing hard to get). She kept telling her friends how she could never date him, he's crazy! But he remained persistent! That was the beginning of their adventure together!

They were both invited to dinner in Hoboken with their friends, it was a Sunday night. Jenn knew that the next day she had to be up at 5:30AM for work and there was no way this dinner was happening. Somehow, Shane convinced her...(that persistence again)! Their friends used the excuse that their mom was visiting from Austria as a diversion too. When they arrived in Hoboken, Jenn noticed that the restaurant was overlooking the city. It was so beautiful, Shane hated taking pictures so she didn't bother asking. They enjoyed dinner and the view from inside. After stuffing their faces they figured the view would be much better outside! They decided to walk it off and Shane kept dragging Jenn bringing her to the perfect spot. Before she knew it he was down on one knee. At first, she was worried he had hurt himself and couldn't get back up. Then, she put it all together! She doesn't remember anything that was said, but all she could say was YES!
