Erik and Emily met when they were at Michigan Tech Preschool in Houghton, MI. That’s right... preschool! Their love for each other was noticable even back then. They played together, talked together, and even shared a few kisses. Growing up, they were always by each other’s sides as loyal friends. Their shared memories and life stories are deeply intertwined, from so many years spent in each other’s presence. As time passed, their relationship became more than friendship. Loyalty and trust blossomed into love, and now here they stand, over 20 years later, ready to become husband and wife. •Emily & Erik kissed at least twice in preschool... once in the “kitchen corner” and once at a McDonald’s ball pit. •Emily’s engagement ring belonged to her Grandma Annie (mother’s side). •Erik proposed to Emily at his Grandpa’s camp on the shores of Lake Superior. •Two of Emily’s bridesmaids (Noelle & Renee) also went to preschool with Erik & Emily.
