FAQs

If you have any questions other than what we've listed, please reach out to Ali (901-275-0472) or Evan (805-252-5116).
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

RSVP deadline is July 6th, 2022! We are only taking RSVPs online to reduce paper waste. If you cannot figure out how to RSVP online, you can call or text Ali and Evan.

Question

Do you have hotel blocks? Do I have to stay there?

Answer

We currently have a blocks reserved at 2 hotels. See the Travel tab for more info. We encourage our guests to stay wherever they feel comfortable, however! That includes our hotel blocks with discounted rates, other hotels in the area, family or friends, and Air BnBs.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In an effort to keep our wedding COVID-friendly, intimate and on-budget, we are limiting plus ones. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What should I wear/Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses/jumpsuits, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. No sneakers/jeans/t-shirts/casual dresses please! If you have any questions please feel free to text them to Ali or Evan. If you want to be on-theme, wear something that feels like you're dining at a romantic restaurant on the Italian coast in Positano 💁🏻‍♀️🕯🍷

Question

Will the wedding day events take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All wedding day events will take place outdoors in either the courtyard or on the terrace. In the event of inclement weather (rain, high winds, extreme heat, etc.), the ceremony and reception will take place in the great room of Villa Terrace. The cocktail hour will still take place in the courtyard as it is partially covered.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Guests may begin arriving at 4 p.m. and the ceremony will start at 4:30 p.m. If you arrive late, there will be an empty row at the back where you can quietly take a seat.

Question

What about parking and transporation?

Answer

We strongly encourage guests to use ride-shares or hail a taxi to drop them off (10-15 minutes from the heart of downtown) as we will not be providing transportation to the venue. If you do have a car, please note that street parking at the venue is extremely limited.

Question

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

We are requiring all guests be fully vaccinated before the wedding, and if possible, up-to-date on COVID-19 boosters. We will be abiding by whatever additional mandates the City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County have in place at the time invitations are mailed. These may be rules such as social distancing, wearing masks, or requiring negative rapid tests within 24 hours of the wedding. If you have a cold or feel sick the week before the wedding, please let us know ASAP so we can adjust both our plans accordingly. Thanks for your understanding!

Question

How will you communicate any updated info and/or changes before the wedding?

Answer

If there's any chance that our wedding will be postponed or otherwise altered, we will reach out to individuals by phone or text to let everyone know.
