Growing up about ten minutes away from one another in the suburbs of Chicago and attending rival high schools, Izzy and Charlie knew of each other but had never actually met. It wasn't until they both traveled over 1,700 miles from home to attend college at the University of Arizona, that they became friendly. This was in part because they both spent most of their time at AEPI, and part because of their similar backgrounds and mutual friends. Fast forward to the first tailgate of their sophomore year… Izzy and Charlie became reacquainted and spent the entire day chatting and catching up. After bonding over their seemingly increasing amount of similarities and interests, they were both left wondering, “where have you been all this time?!” Charlie called his mom the next day and told her that he'd met the girl version of himself. And the feeling was mutual - Izzy called home and, to put it simply, told her parents that she met her husband… and the rest is history! Here they are, almost exactly 6 years later, engaged and starting this brand new chapter of their lives and all that’s yet to come, together.
