We met in high school, Matthew and my brother Taylor became quick friends and have stayed close ever since. Each time we spent time together, gathered for conventions or holiday celebrations, little by little, I quietly fell for Matthew. We stayed friends over the years and continued to meet up when Matthew came back to visit. One night I felt inspired to tell him how I felt and we haven't spent a day without talking to each other since. We enjoyed learning about each other's passions and hopes for the future, until we decided we wanted to try dating. Our engagement has been the most amazing adventure, and we cannot wait to continue building a life together!
