We're getting married!

February 3, 2021, the tail end of the pandemic. We both were invited to the same bowling birthday party of Max's roommate, also named Max! Sydney was drawn to Max immediately and was so excited to meet him. Max was preoccupied with his bowling score or shy as we can call it today. Nonetheless, he was definitely not thinking he would be finding his future wife that night. Sydney ended up joining Max and his friends for a night out on the town to continue celebrating. Little did she know, Max was her ride back. That put a smile on her face, in which Max had no idea. Sydney eventually told her best friend Hailey that she thought Max was cute not knowing that Hailey and Max were very close friends, so Hailey of course told Max! Fast forward, Max and Sydney were in the same friend circle and started to hang out more. Eventually, Max asked Sydney on their first date and from there it was history.

It was the Saturday morning of the AEPI formal in Nashville, Tennessee. Max had asked Sydney to be his date for the event. After a few months of getting to know each other Max decided he needed to put a label on this relationship. After asking Sydney to be his girlfriend, Sydney responded with, “Can I think about it?” Great! Just what you want to hear when making yourself vulnerable. Eventually she finished thinking, and here we are today!

On September 1st, 2024, Max planned a trip to Newport Beach over Labor Day weekend! Max and Sydney were both so excited for a little vacation. Max was being very secretive about the trip, which gave Sydney a gut feeling that she knew what was going to happen over the weekend. Next thing we knew, Max proposed on a gondola in the middle of the harbor! It was something they’ll both never forget. For those who saw the pictures, no, they weren’t in Italy! Maybe we’ll get some there next! Both Sydney's parents, Lauren and Steven as well as Max's parents, Aliza and Rich are so excited to blend our families together!
