To stay not only connected but to grow in our friendship and with each other after 19 years, no matter the distance, is the type of unconditional love that I had never experienced in a friendship. We could be drinking beer, cuddling on a couch, dancing on the town, it doesn't really matter, because we are always comfortable in each other's presence, and always have hella fun. From pretending to be sisters and making up languages as kids to getting our first tattoos together at 18, and now getting me married. I am so grateful for this one, and always will be.

We were immersed in a whole new world, not only of Atlanta but working on a farm with an Urban Agriculture organization. Sam cares so much about the people in her life, bringing the utmost thoughtfulness and intentionality into her relationships. Nabatttaayyy!!! I met Nabat at a tough time. I was going through a breakup and wanted new hair to feel like a new me. When I got in the salon chair that day, I had no idea that I would be meeting one of my closest and most loyal friends. Nabat and I connected instantly, and before you know it, we were going on a two-week trip to Thailand together, then another 2-week hiking trip to the French, Italian, and Swiss Alps together.
