How We Met

Swiping right led to forever

Our adventure began in 2015. We met through an online dating app. Our first meet up outside George Mason University in Arlington led to many other adventures including trips around the world, catching the chickenpox for a second time! and adopting our beloved puppy Maggie May. We cannot wait to experience what forever has in store for us!

The Proposal

Red Rock Crossing the Threshold

On a Saturday morning this past June, we were on a trip in Sedona, Arizona. Brad had gone golfing in the morning with his colleagues and I was getting ready to go on an extreme Jeep excursion in the afternoon. When I got back, Brad was suspiciously standing outside by the hotel entrance. I asked him if he was waiting for me. He said "yes" ( I later found out that he was disposing of the huge FedEx box my engagement ring came in to get rid of the evidence). He insisted that we go out to a romantic location that he had found. It seemed a little odd, but I got ready quickly and started walking with him. We caught an Uber and headed down to his romantic location called Red Rock Crossing or Crescent Moon Ranch. As we were driving down to the location, the Uber driver told us that the flagship red rocks symbolized two people getting married, which was a surprise for both of us. She also told us about the vortex energy fields that were located in this area. When we got dropped off, we walked by the main vortex, a huge red rock over the size of a football field, and walked down to the river. I was talking about getting into the water and as I was getting ready to take my shoes off, Brad said "let's do this" and when I looked back, Brad was down on one knee with the ring in his hands and asked me to marry him. I was shocked, speechless and so excited, I screamed YES! It was such a magical moment since we both love nature and the breathtaking scenery of Sedona made this moment unforgettable.
