You should expect high 70's to low 80's during the day. The evening can get a bit chilly in the 50s so please bring a jacket/shawl!
No, we do not suggest renting a car. Once in San Miguel, everything is walkable or a 3 minute taxi/Uber ride. We recommend booking a ride to and from the airport via a recommended shuttle service or your hotel concierge / the house you are staying in San Miguel. Your non-expired passport, comfortable shoes for walking during the day, sunscreen, a jacket or pashmina for the evenings, and a hat for the sun if you'd like.
We would suggest having a small amount of pesos. We recommend using the ATMs in the central square right across from the Starbucks or inquiring if your hotel has one. Pesos are used in cabs and markets. Most shops have a credit card machine, but not all of them.
Dress code provided under "Schedule' tab. NOTE: Please do not wear high heels unless they are block heels or wedges - San Miguel is a 16th century city and has all cobble stone streets. If you aren't comfortable with cobble stone streets, please wear flats/shoes with traction!
