Phil Abraham, is the youngest and best son of Pastor P.C. Abraham. Phil is Pastor and Molly Abraham’s gift to the world! Born in the great city of New York, Phil lived his first 9 years there. Following the calling of God, Pastor Abraham uprooted his family and moved to the sunshine state of Florida where Phil would spend the next 8 years. After completing his 11th grade year Pastor Abraham had another calling to move to Seattle. Heeding the will of God, Pastor Abraham once again moved his family to Seattle in the year 2012. Phil completed his senior year, Bachelors and his Masters in Finance in Seattle and also began a career in Finance where he has been for the last 5 years! Fiona Koshy, the oldest and favorite daughter of Biju Koshy Cherian and Kessia Mathew was born in the motherland, Kerala, India. At 2 months old, she then moved to Singapore with her parents and lived there for 10 years. Following the calling of God and in pursuit of a better life, Biju uprooted his family and moved to the land down under, Sydney, Australia, where Fiona would spend the next 6 years. After completing 9th grade, Biju had another calling as his company was transferring him to the United States. Heeding the will of God, Biju once again moved his family to Boston, Massachusetts in the year 2012. Fiona completed her high school, Bachelors, and Masters in Nursing in Boston and also began her career as a Nurse Practitioner where she has been for the last year and a half! Some say October is the “spooky” season and that Friday the 13th is known as an “unlucky” day. This is not the case for Fiona and Phil. Our story starts with a long plane ride from Japan and 2 amazing Fathers. Our parents were introduced to each other, and became the best of friends. After careful conversations and prayer, Fiona’s dad asked to speak with Phil. Unbeknownst to him, Phil had just returned from his adventure in Japan. After sleeping for 14 hours straight, Phil woke up to his dad telling him to get up and get ready as he would be speaking with Fiona’s dad in about 20 minutes. In a panic filled daze, Phil got up and got ready for a call that would change his life. Not knowing what would come of the call (and frankly not knowing what day it was) Phil and Fiona’s dad had a call that apparently went on for about an hour but felt like a few minutes. At the end of the phone call, which then switched to a FaceTime, Fiona’s dad said that he would like Phil to speak with Fiona as Phil seemed normal (jokes on Fiona’s dad, as Phil is far from normal). Fiona’s dad then spoke to Fiona about Phil, and he spoke highly of him. Her dad recommended that she at least talk to Phil. Fiona’s dad told Phil that he would pass along Phil’s number to Fiona and that Fiona would reach out to talk to Phil. Even better, Phil and Fiona had no idea what each other looked like (talk about Love is Blind). Then after what could only be described as an eternity (which turned out to be only 24 hrs), Phil sent an iMessage to a number on Friday, October 13th that belonged to a, YUCK, a Boston area code?! How could it be, that the potential future Mrs. Abraham could be from Boston and she also loves the Patriots (Go PATs!!!!)?!. Either way Phil said, “Let's give it a shot!” They first texted, which then progressed to a phone call, which then progressed to a FaceTime, which then eventually progressed to more texting and regularly scheduled FaceTime calls. They met in person for the first time when Phil and his family visited Fiona and her family in Boston, and the rest is history, and so excited to see what the rest of our future holds.
