What is the expected attire for the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Garden attire - We are encouraging a fun, colorful and whimsical style of clothing for our special day! Not required, but we'd love to see your creativity in action: fancy hats, capes, fascinators, any clothing choice that represents your sense of joy and flair! For the Ladies we recommend flats or short heels due to outdoor nature of the wedding.

What style of shoes are recommended for the evening?

Answer

The wedding will take place in the back yard of a family house. There will be short steps to get into the house and entering the backyard. Some areas will also have grass. We suggest Ladies wear flats or short heels for the evening.

What will the parking situation be on the day of the wedding ?

Answer

Guests will be able to use the parking lot at Camarillo United Methodist Church. The address is 291 Anacapa Drive, Camarillo 93010. There will be plenty of parking at the Church. It will be a 3 minute walk from the Church parking lot to our host's residence on Willden Dr. https://maps.app.goo.gl/1aUcCemC3VkMDP2cA We request that you not park on Willden Dr. on the day of the wedding, leaving spaces for the guests that are mobility impaired and as a courtesy to the neighbors on the street.

What will the weather be like outdoors in late May?

Answer

We expect pleasant conditions as is customary at end of May, but we'll keep an eye on local weather as we get closer to the event. If any interesting conditions arise, we will provide updates so our guests can plan appropriately.

Where can I stay overnight if I'm traveling from outside of the area?

Answer

What if I or my guest are mobility impaired? What accommodation is available?

Answer

The event venue is accessible with arranged seating during the ceremony for those guests who require this accommodation. If you have any additional requests or concerns, please reach out to a Wedding Party member on Contacts tab.

What if I'd like to give a wedding gift to the bride and groom?

Answer

Please refer to the Honeymoon Fund page on our site. We are not utilizing a gift registry. Thank you for your thoughtful inquiry.
