Steve and Shannon met the old fashion way... on Tinder! (Seriously who uses Tinder anymore) Their first date was at Pint Sized, a cozy local brewery in Saratoga Springs. They immediately hit if off and quickly became inseparable.

On July 27th Shannon came home one evening to a note and flowers from Steve letting her know they would be leaving for Lake Placid the next day. There were print outs of where they were staying & dining while they were there. Steve suggested he planned the trip because Shannon had been really stressed with work. When they made the drive up to Lake Placid on July 28th it was a gorgeous day. Shannon wouldn't stop singing "Who Let The Dogs Out" the whole way, while Steve nervously prepared his proposal in his head. When they got to the resort they walked into a beautifully decorated room with framed pictures of themselves, wine, and personal touches. When Shannon went to look at a picture she was confused at first and then turned around to Steve on one knee. The rest is history!
