If you know Greg or Britt, you know they are always on the go, off to the next adventure life brings. It just so happened that in 2014 - Britt was often in Tulsa for work & would often stay with her friends Andrew & Halie while visiting. Greg, a Tulsa-native may have called Tulsa home but was more commonly found exploring the plains of Africa or traversing the uncommon grounds of Tajikistan. On this happenstance night, the 2 of them found themselves in Tulsa, where Britt & Greg met over a casual dinner at the crafty hand of their mutual friends Andrew & Halie. Unknown to Greg & Britt, their friends forged a plan for them to meet, to which both of them were not so keen to given they didn't live in the same state and loved their independent, always ready-to-travel lifestyles. But as fate would have it, over many great laughs, stories, and lots of green tea - both Britt & Greg were intrigued. They left dinner that night, each headed off to their next adventure, Greg to Kyrgyzstan & Britt to Sydney, and they didn't talk again until Greg called Britt in January 2015 to plan a date and what soon became the beginning of their adventerous story together.

In the fall of 2019, Britt & Greg stepped out on their next adventure to Dubai & South Africa as planned by Greg as a "birthday" gift to Britt; little did she know Greg had a much bigger event planned. Their S African tour began in Cape Town where they explored like locals, viewed Table Rock Mtn, enjoyed coastal drives along the Cape & ventured to the winelands of Franschhoek & Stellenbosch. From there they flew to the Eastern Cape where Greg is most familiar. They arrive in Port Elizabeth & hop into a game truck for a long drive to the Ezulu Game properties where they'll enjoy the week. There Greg shows Britt the wonders of S African game, culture & the captivating landscape he loves. During the 1st few days at Ezulu plains camp, they drove around the sprawling game lands spotting Giraffe, Bontebok, Kudu, Blesbok, & many other native animals. On October 8th, they decided to head to a nearby town to grab camp supplies & experience a bit of the local culture. None the wiser, Britt enjoyed a massage at a local spa while Greg & the Ezulu team picked up supplies for a big event that evening. Upon return to camp, Britt & Greg relaxed as usual & planned to have "sundowners" with the sunset that evening; none of which tipped Brittany off that a proposal was near. Greg was as calm as always and to Britt's luck - even suggested she blow dry her hair, so she didn't "get cold" while enjoying sunset & sundowners that evening. So off they went through the magical landscape of the Ezulu game lands, up to a hilltop that overlooked the golden S African plains; there Britt & Greg sat under a tree with blue lanterns flowing in the wind, enjoying local wine, and good conversation. Greg reached for a box that was aptly stuck in his vest, then said to Britt "there's no better time than now" and dropped to one knee where he asked her to spend the rest of her life alongside him. She said "yes!" as the sun set on the horizon. To a lifetime of adventure and the adventure of a lifetime.
