Finn and Jessi met on the very first night at their new school in Switzerland. Jessi and her roommate, Sarah, were wandering through town trying to find the bar where all the incoming students were supposed to meet to celebrate the start of the semester. Unsurprisingly, they were completely lost. As they turned down a random street, they spotted Finn walking toward them. Jessi and Sarah stopped him to ask if he knew where the bar was. Luckily, he did. He was actually on his way there too. The three of them ended up walking together through the small Swiss streets until they finally found the bar filled with their future classmates. After that night, Finn made a habit of saying hello whenever he saw Jessi around school. Before long, they somehow ended up with nearly identical class schedules and spent most of their days together. It quickly became obvious to everyone in their freshman class that Finn had a crush on Jessi. In fact, several classmates became personally invested in helping him escape the friend zone. Eventually, Finn accepted that they were just friends and decided to stop trying to be anything more. But as their friendship grew over the next few months, the way Jessi saw Finn began to change. They became best friends, spending nearly every day together, and before long, they couldn't imagine life without each other. What started as an unexpected friendship naturally grew into something much stronger, and the rest is history. Over the past nine years, Jessi and Finn have built a life full of adventure, laughter, and a few furry companions along the way. From meeting in Switzerland to living and working in Barcelona, New York City, and Los Angeles, they've explored the Netherlands, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, France, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, Cambodia, and countless cities across the United States. Along the way, they've fostered a cat (Bedford), adopted three cats (Felipe, Mia and Millie), a dog (Kai), and even a hamster (Rocky). Today, they call Hawaiʻi home and are so excited to celebrate the next chapter of their story with all of the people they love most.
