What is the attire?

Answer

We’d like our guests to dress up with us! We are requesting formal attire/black-tie optional. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be taking place outdoors, with an indoor reception. We recommend checking in on weather predictions. We ask that the following colors be avoided as the main color of your dress/jacket: white, red, gold. Question

How do I know who is invited?

Answer

If your invitation was addressed to "The (last name) Family" you, your spouse, and household children are invited. If your invitation was addressed to "Your Name & Guest" you are able to bring a spouse or friend. If your invitation was addressed to you and your spouse, just the two of you are invited. If your invitation was addressed only to you, then we would love to have YOU :)

Will there be childcare at the wedding?

Answer

We will have available background checked caretakers on site for children ages 1-9 years old. We recommend children under the age of 3 be with the onsite sitter for the duration of the evening. They will have a separate private space in the main house with age appropriate toys/games/devices. We are requiring that if your child is at an age where they could become distracting (crying, talking, physically uncontrollable) during the ceremony or first dance, that they are with the caretaker at that time even if not under 3 years of age. Please keep in mind that while invited children are allowed to attend the event, there will be loud and “not age appropriate” music playing during the reception. This will be an adult focused event. We wanted to be as accommodating as possible with most family and friends being from out of town, however limiting distractions during these important moments is a priority for us.

How can I get to the venue from my hotel?

Answer

If staying at either of the two hotels listed on our travel page we will be providing a complimentary shuttle service. If renting a vehicle or using your own, there will be complimentary valet service at the venue upon arrival. We do not recommend relying on uber/lyft in this area. The option is not always a guarantee.

Is smoking/vaping allowed?

Answer

Our venue has a highly enforced NO SMOKING/VAPING rule. Any need will require you to go to the parking lots and anyone caught in other locations will be asked to leave.

Is there somewhere to take my kids trick-or-treating the night before?

Answer

There are many lovely local developments in the area. Please text the bride if you are interested in receiving some location information.
