The Story
Maddie and Tommy both grew up in Holland and both attended Hope College, but their paths wouldn't cross until after graduation.
Through mutual friends, Tommy wound up at the home Maddie shared with a group of girls - and while Maddie wasn't home at the time, her dog was. Tommy says he fell in love with Kona first :)
They hung out in a group a few times before Tommy made his move. Although neither of them had much of an interest in basketball, Tommy came over to watch March Madness, using the excuse that he didn't have cable and Maddie did. He brought over a $5 hot 'n ready pizza and a six pack of Oberon.
The rest is history.
Maddie loves Tommy's caring heart, easygoing personality, and his love for the outdoors (and that cute smile doesn't hurt).
Tommy loves Maddie's kindness, love for animals, sense of humor and wit.
