Garrapata State Park
Driving along the coast in Big Sur has always been special to us. From visiting when we were just friends, to getting engaged here. It will always hold a special place in our heart. Other notable spots include Pfieffer State Park and McWays Falls! As well as dozens of places to pull over and admire the beautiful view. If you visit Garrapata State Park, see if you can find the spot where Matthew proposed!
De Tierra Vineyards
De Tierra is just one of the many tasting rooms in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea that we love. Most of which are in walking distance of each other. If you have the time and love good wine we highly recommend going to one or a few tasting rooms!
Asilomar Beach View
One of our favorite beaches ever. Park anywhere on the side of the road and if you don't like sand between your toes , stick to the walking path! If you're feeling a little adventurous climb around the rocks and look for wildlife! You are certain to find something including little crabs, unique shells, and starfish!
Adventures by the Sea Breakwater Cove
So many water based activities if you are feeling adventurous, from renting kayaks and paddle boards to tours there is something for everyone!
