Our story began on November 11, 2017, with all the classic, cringe-worthy awkwardness of a first date. We met on a dating app, and our first encounter was a polite disaster: a coffee shop, a farmers market, and Rachel in her nervousness, directed Graeme to a random parking lot so he wouldn't know her exact address when he offered her a ride home. Rachel made a whirlwind, daytrip to Vancouver Island while spending the weekend in Vancouver and posted about it. That February, Rachel flew out to see Graeme. After nearly getting trapped by an ice storm and running to make her flight connection, we were finally reunited.
