Nora and Ben met the "modern, traditional" way... on a dating app! While most people spend months or even years online searching for the one, their experience was a little different. Ben downloaded the app and, after a few hours, he found Nora's profile, called it a day and congratulated himself on a job well done! On their first few dates they bonded over their mutual love of seeing live music, adventuring outside and appreciating a good craft beer. They truly put their relationship to the test as they continued seeing each other despite the fact that he lived on the West Side and she lived in the San Fernando Valley. Braving the 405 freeway time and time again, their relationship blossomed and eventually they found themselves moving in together. Nora and Ben have filled the last seven years of their lives with joy, laughter and adventure. They've travelled around Europe, explored Panama, cruised to Mexico, hiked all over California and roadtripped around the Southwest. Together they enjoy trying new restaurants and breweries or taking regular ski trips and camping trips. You'll often catch them at a game, cheering on either the Los Angeles Dodgers or Chargers (depending on the season). They've lovingly and unwaveringly supported each other through the pandemic, career changes, the pursuit of graduate degrees and many other challenges along the way. In April of 2020 they brought their beloved dog, Cooper, into their home and he has been the center of their world ever since. Ben proposed to Nora on November 10, 2023 on a boat in Oxnard, CA. The answer, of course, was a resounding "YES!" Shortly after, he brought her to a winery and surprised her by having their close family waiting to celebrate the joyous day together. Ben and Nora are ecstatic to finally become husband and wife and cannot wait to share their big day with all of their family and friends.
