WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Although their story doesn’t start on January 26th, that was a huge stepping stone for the relationship. This is the day when Tyler got the courage to ask Briana to be his one and only. From this moment on, they were absolutely smitten. Both were living at home and life was breezy. Dates were constant, snuggling was a necessity, and they were absolutely adorable. From living at home to moving in together in 2015, things started to get more serious and they grew closer together. The dating phase lasted almost five years until Tyler decided to pop the question and took that next step in their relationship. Within those five years they gained: three new addresses, two precious kitties, and a whole new meaning of love and friendship.

In the early stages of the relationship, we loved the idea of being adventurous and trying things we had never tried before. We decided to do just that for our 6 month anniversary. Tyler bought tickets to go skydiving in San Diego and Briana was beyond thrilled! The day finally came and we were both a little nervous but we decided to push through - it was all about the memory we were about to make as a couple. The skies were a little gloomy and the lines were pretty long. Sitting there waiting for our little plane to come felt like a lifetime and we can still relive that moment over and over again in our head. Walking up to the plane was extremely intimidating and unfortunately Briana was pushed into the plane a lot earlier than Tyler. While waiting to get up to 3,000 feet, Briana's face turned a new shade of white and lost all smiles as fear was kicking in. Tyler was lucky as he was one of the first people pushed out of the plane and enjoyed every second of it! His landing was hard being taller than the guy on tandem, but got a nice butt landing out of it. Briana was deathly terrified being thrown out of the plane, but was thrilled once the parachute was pulled. Views of San Diego were amazing from 3,000 feet up and once there was some sense of security with the parachute, Bri could finally enjoy this for what it was. By the time it was over, they both felt a sense of relief that they made it through, but more importantly, they were happy they went on this adventure together.

Our engagement story is not your typical surprise story since after being together for almost five years, it came as no surprise. Intimate and personal, Tyler proposed at home on a quiet Sunday after our friends had visited us at our new place in San Diego. We were discussing our life together and how we couldn't image our future without one another. Tyler decided he didn't want to imagine a life without Briana, and got the courage to ask the question. Briana, of course, said yes after a few happy tears, and here they are today!
