The Wedding Website of Candice Espiritu and Dave Shaw
Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Stephanie Cowee

Matron of Honor

My bratty younger sister turned best friend and role model. Started from the bottom now we're here! God taught me patience with you. I admire your free spirit, proud of the woman you became, and love the life you made for yourself. Shouting all the words to "Shoop", drinking wine fighting over a Starbucks cup, and sharing the best book club I've ever known!! Sharing life with you has been my greatest adventure!

Heather Waite

Maid of Honor

Are you twins? I don't have her nose! No...she's my sister! The person who pulled me out of despair. You loved me when I thought the world was against me. From clubbing at Kat, sneaking into the house after mom left for work to slamming doors over a t-shirt and crying because I love you so much! You have always been my constant, my rock, and my buffer when mom is mad!

Alayna Lewis

Maid of Honor

My Ina...you're my person! My go-to girlie, my right hand gal. No one ends a drunken night in Paris like you do! From the first to know about our engagement to standing next to me on the most important day of my life, it's been the best 14 years with you! You have the most beautiful soul, I am truly so lucky to have you in my life!

Ashley Lester-Shaw

Matron of Honor

Ashley Shan...what can I say?! I love you to the moon and back. My ride or die, laugh til we cry, up all night, judge without judgements, passing ships in the night, calling a spade a spade, and my personal favorite "what in the cornbread hell?"! You are me and I am you, and that's my favorite thing about us.

Brandi Toner

Bridesmaid

The cousin I always looked up to! You are my definition of a "cool girl". I love that we can always circle back and pick up where we left off!

Olivia Marcoz

Bridesmaid

My social battery twin! I love that we can exist effortlessly without even interacting! Also, I'm never sharing a Korean corn dog with you ever again!

Brenna Marcoz

Bridesmaid

You are the social butterfly that brings my inner extrovert out. With just a few glances, we can have a whole silly conversation. You keep me young and having fun, always reminding me that life is not that serious.

Ashli Delatte

Bridesmaid

If there's a person who can do it all...it's YOU! The strength you possess is nothing short of miraculous. You are the epitome of enjoying life to the fullest. I'm so happy I'm there to witness it.

McKenzie Rihn

Bridesmaid

My birthday twin! I always have so much fun with you. Your easy spirit and patience are my favorite things about you. I love that you're always up for a good time.

Marcus Parrish

Best Man

Best Man and Officiant. Dave and Marcus have been friends since childhood. Swimming at the public pool to being mischievous young adults. Marcus and Dave can go years without seeing each other and pick up right where they left off. True friends for life.

Jeff Miltimore

Groomsman

Cousin to the groom, really connecting as adults. From skiing in Vermont to annual river trips in Tidioute. Jeff and Dave enjoy a good laugh over a shot of Fireball every now and then!

John Bosack

Groomsman

Dave met John the day his oldest son was born. Through a mutual friend, they have been friends ever since. John and Dave have had the craziest of times. Always enjoying a boat day, even if the fish aren't biting! From rocking out to the Rolling Stones in concert to living it up at the pool, the laughs never stop!

Logan Webb

Groomsman

Dave's youngest son. Living your life on the internet and loving the farm life! Traveling and enjoying life to the fullest, taking care of your family, and still making time for the Firehouse. I can't wait to see all you accomplish.

Mack Lewis

Groomsman

Dave's oldest nephew. Some say, Mack and Dave are very similar, never passing up a good rope swing even if it means landing face down in 6" of water! When Mack and Dave are together, you're guaranteed a good time. From jumping off cliffs on the river to going to motorcross in the winter, there's always a good story to tell.

Jake Marcoz

Groomsman

Dave's nephew. The guy who is all about having fun! Jake lights up the room with his smile and love of a good joke. Always laughing....and crying! Never backing down from a dare, even if it means eating a live crawfish!

Zach Marcoz

Groomsman

Dave's nephew. Dave and Zach have a love of being outdoors. Zach loves to hunt where Dave loves to explore! Zach makes a mean jerky after a good day of hunting. Hitting the trails in the woods behind Zach's house at every visit to kayaking the rivers of PA. Zach never turns down an outdoor adventure.

Greyson Delatte

Groomsman

Our youngest grandson, with the heart of a daredevil. Sharing the love of all things with a motor! I love watching you ride dirt bikes, learn how to wake board, and take care of your sisters with such care.

Kruz Shaw

Groomsman

Our oldest grandson. even though you may live states away, you are always in our hearts and thoughts. I'm so proud of the person you are growing up to be. Getting into boxing and still loving Spiderman!

Karen Stewart

Mother of the Bride

The woman who taught me independence, strength, and how to do the electric slide! You were always the life of the party, you had this glow about you that attracted everyone. I was always in awe of you. You were the epitome of a "cool mom"! You had the most beautiful soul and a smile that lit up the room. You have been missed everyday since you left us. Although you are not here physically, I feel you watching over me everyday...and I am so thankful for that.

Ben Espiritu

Father of the Bride

I've always been told, "You have your father's face"...and yet you still called me ugly! You had the best sense of humor, kept everyone around you giggling. You might have been a man with simple taste, but you always had a love for life. I have always enjoyed watching you cook in the kitchen trying to teach me how to cook Filipino food, still working on those recipes! Now that you're gone, I'm am so happy to have your face.

JoAnn Waite

Mother of the Bride

What do you say about the woman who took in a troubled kid who lost her mom too soon? All the "thank you's" in the world will never be enough. I will never forget the day I called you needing a safe place, without question you said "pack your things and come home". You started off being mom's best friend and ended up being the best mom I could've asked for. Your compassion and unconditional love have molded me to the person I am today. I am a good person because you led as the example.

Bob Waite

Father of the Bride

You welcomed me into your home with open arms, probably because mom forced you to but regardless you accepted me and loved me! You showed me what having a dad really feels like. From our trips to Taco Bell to movie nights, spending time with you has always been fun. When I look back on growing up, you are always there, always present. You are my constant role model. I love the way you laugh after telling one of your dad jokes or on every birthday, you say just swing by, we'll have cake! From building the girls a half bathroom to catching us trying to sneak out wearing "not dad approved" clothes, you always took care of us. Always loving us and showing us how we deserve to be treated. Thanks dad.

Connie Shaw

Mother of the Groom

The matriarch of the family, the glue that holds us all together. You love with such fierceness, always supportive, and accepted me for all my crazy antics! You taught me to work hard and enjoy all the things life has to offer.

Larry Shaw

Father of the Groom

My love of motorcycles all started with my dad teaching me how to ride. It's now one of my favorite hobbies. We share the love of a good car show, watching Mecum together even though we were miles apart.
